Another color to add to our collection .. great value esp for the quantityA lot of black beads.Its hard to say anything bad about these beads. you fuse them together to make fun projects or even gifts for family members that probably wanted a gift card to target instead but this year they all got perler bead art. They love to hang them on the fridge or keep them in a drawer in the kitchen that way they can show you how much they appreciate your gift of effort instead of money every time you look for a serving spoon at their home. These are better than real gifts for birthdays and Christmas because these perler gifts only cost a few dollars and some of your otherwise worthless time sitting at home alone with your many many cats. Give the somewhat unwanted gift of homemade art to your fleeting number of friends and family. Lastly, it would be nice if the bags were ziploc style so you could keep the beads in the bags but im sure most people buying these have a room dedicated to arts and crafts and the walls are lined with clear plastic storage containers of perler beads, scrapbooking supplies and wrapping paper so maybe its not that necessary.What I neededBought these for my granddaughter she wanted to make some Christmas presents. I chose these cranapple coloured beads because I liked the colour and don't have a lot of reddish beads in my collection. When they arrived they were as they appeared in the picture. Not really much to say about that. No surprises. They're just as pretty a colour in-person as they were on the computer screen.They were shipped quickly and arrived in perfect shape perhaps due to the expert packing (but then again, it's not like they're breakable or anything). Happy with my purchase and would purchase again if I needed them.What I received is more of a red-ish purple (a color that I already have at home) even though on the picture it's more of a blue-ish purple... The product is even named violet in french (because thats the language I was using for shopping), so it's misleading. If you look on the official website, the picture is different from the one up here but its way closer to the real color of the beads. I bought a lot of bags from perler and thats the first time that I did not receive what I expected. The product works great when used and it was exactly what I was looking for. The color is exactly what was needed to finish the projects the needed a lot of black.
